Italian:

Spaghetti Sauce/Pizza sauce

4-6 small cans of Tomato sauce

1 ½ tsp Garlic salt or powder

1 tbsp Minced onion

2 ½ tbsp Italian seasonings

2 tbsp Sugar

Add 1/8 tsp Oregano and thyme if desired

Heat up in pan

To make the sauce more hearty, you can also add as many of the following

*1-2 small cans of mushrooms- sautée them

*1/2- 1 whole white onion-grilled

*1 pound browned Hamburger or ground turkey meat

* Meat balls

*1 cup Chopped green or red Bell peppers

*1 Chopped Tomatoe or 1 can of whole tomatoes -cut each in 3-4 pieces

Serves 6 people

Old world Manicotti (haven’t tried this one yet but it sounds good) Ingredients:

12 large manicotti shells

4 c shredded mozzarella cheese

2 c ricotta cheese

2 tbsp dried basil

26oz spaghetti sauce

½ grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray 13x19 baking dish with non stick spray

2. Cook Pasta according to package directions. Drain: rinse with cool water. Let pasta dry on paper towels.

3. For filling stir together 3 cups mozzarella with the ricotta and fresh basil. Using a teaspoon, carefully stuff pasta shells.

4. Spoon 2 cups spaghetti sauce into prepared baking dish. Arrange stuffed pasta over sauce. Pour remaining spaghetti sauce over top of pasta. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella

5. Bake manicotti for 15 mins. Sprinkle with Parmesan; bake for 10 mins longer. Serve immediately

Tortilla Pizza

Toast tortilla on one side on flat pan

Flip over- putting burner on lower setting

Spread on ketchup

Sprinkle- Italian spices- garlic salt- minced onion on ketchup

Sprinkle on cheese

Let melt –remove when melted and not burned on bottom lol!

Tortilla Pizza Quesadilla

Put one tortilla on flat pan or inside open quesadilla maker

Spread on ketchup

Sprinkle- Italian spices- garlic salt- minced onion on ketchup

Sprinkle on cheese

Top with 2nd tortilla

Toast both sides- by- flipping and toasting both sides or closing door to quesadilla maker
